Natchez High School's Youth Leadership Natchez students graduate

Natchez High School's Youth Leadership Natchez students graduated from the program on April 26, 2022.  These students were chosen through an application and interview process at the beginning of the school year.  They teamed up with other 11th graders from ACCS and Cathedral and met once a month to engage in activities throughout the Natchez area.  Some of the places they visited included: The Adams County Sheriff's Office, Merit Health Hospital, AMR, St. Catherine Wildlife Refuge, Natchez, Inc. and the Adams County Port.  The students found out that Natchez has more to offer than they previously knew about.  Kamaurre White stated, "I had no idea about all the opportunities Natchez had."  And, Christen Reynolds said that this was, "one of the best times of my life and I made new friends that can last a lifetime."  Each student remembered to thank all those who worked hard to make this program happen.  As a matter of fact, they wanted to know if they could participate again next year, Mrs. Myles, Counselor and Youth Leadership Liaison stated.
