How to Access the Registration Platform

Hello all this is a quick video showing you how to register your child or children or the 2020-2021 school year. Parents please remember whether you choose virtual or hybrid students must be registered. So the first thing you are going to do is go to the Natchez-Adams School District website. Our web address is natchezadamssschooldistrict.org. and you are going to type it into the address bar and hit enter. Once you do that, you are going to come here to our homepage. You are going to want to 2020-2021 student registration and then you're going to see a menu come down after that. You are going to want to click Active Parent. After clicking Active Parent it will take you to the Active Parent homepage here you want to type in your username and password. If you do not know your username or password please contact your school. This is the active parent homepage. Once you see this active parent homepage you're going to want to make sure that your kids are attached to you. So, if you look up here in this bar any child is attached to you your children should be listed here. Then you want to go over to the right and look for the icon that looks like a notepad and a pencil and you're going to want to click that. Once you click that this is the window or the page that allow you to start the registration process. However, you look at mines it says no students available for registration. Please enter an active code or contact your District it is because I have already registered my children but if I had not done so their names will be listed right here where it says student. So you would choose the student you want to register, click that student's name then click begin registration. Parents make sure you go through the entire process, that you answered every question, and make sure you upload your documents. If you do not complete the entire process the registration is incomplete. So please make sure you do everything that it asked and you upload those documents. Now once you complete that registration, say you have multiple children once you complete the registration for their first child. Go back and do the same thing for any children. But the good thing about it is things are saved so you don't have to re-upload documents. You're just going to choose the same documents to attach those children as well. Now let's say you have a new student to the district like a kindergarten student or a student that's new. 1st through 12th grade, you're going to have to have a code in order to register that child. So the first thing you need to do is contact the school and the school will be able to give you a code for registration. Once you receive that code, you're going to click where it says have a code to enter click here. Once you click that, it is going to take you to this window and you're going to enter that code. Once you enter that code you're going to hit redeem code and it will take you to the registration window for those children. After you have completed the registration process because we are in a season of COVID-19 there's no additional form we need you all to complete so you can go back to the Natchez Adams School District website and you're going to click learning options selection form. Now this document or this form has three pages if you look here at the bottom it says page 1 of 3 so you need to go through all three pages. It's going to ask you for your email address, the students first name, students last name, your first and last name, your phone number then you are going to select which grade level your student will be in for the 2020-2021 school year as well as which school they will be attending. This is very important you going to choose if your child will be on-site learning, meaning they will be coming 2 days per week. This is what we're calling hybrid or if they would do virtual distance learning which means that is completely online. When you go to page 2 it is going to ask you if you have internet and do you have access to a computer. Please answer those questions truthfully and then the third page is basically just you signing off that the information is correct. So parents those are the two things we need you to do ASAP in order to get your child or your children ready for the 2020-2021 school year.
