Messages from Assistant Principals

Welcome Parents and Friends from Tukiiya Stephens
Personal Me
I am a native of Clarksdale, MS but I have been living in Natchez since 2009.  I have one son, Jaylen, who is five years old and attends McLaurin Elementary.  I strive every day to be the BEST mother I can be.
Educated Me
I graduated from Clarksdale High School in 2004.  After graduating from high school, I became a BRAVE!  Graduating from Alcorn State University in 2008, 2009, AND 2011 with degrees in Biology and Chemistry, and Elementary Education, respectively, gave me the necessary tools to help students explore the scientifics of everyday life.  To further enhance the educational body of knowledge, I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Walden University.
Professional Me
I've been a part of the Natchez Adams School District family since 2011; working at Natchez High School, Natchez Early College Academy, Natchez Freshman Academy, and Robert Lewis Magnet School.  I was bestowed the honor of being Natchez Early College Academy’s Teacher of the year in 2014 and NASD District Teacher of the Year that same year. At Robert Lewis Magnet, we seek to develop students academically, culturally, and behaviorally through constant and consistent student-centered instruction and exposure to elements beyond Mississippi.  It is my desire to create experiences that will build teacher efficacy, motivate student learning, and generate healthy parental involvement.  Our goal at RLMS is to “Strive for Excellence Every day!” We are producing S.T.A.R.S.-Students and Teachers that Are Reaching for Success! Outside of education, I am a small business owner.  Tweet occasionS, LLC makes every occasion a SWEET one.  I specialize in decorating cakes and cupcakes to meet the needs of any client.

Greetings and Welcome from Angela Reynolds!

I am Angela L Reynolds, a lifelong resident of Natchez, MS; I love my hometown and the people in it.  I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I have served with the Natchez Adams School District for 14 years as a classroom teacher, school counselor, and now assistant principal.  I attend Forest Aid B.C. where I sing in the choir and work with the youth department.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Jackson State University in Social Work, my Master's degree from Alcorn State University in Secondary Education, my Specialist degree from Mississippi College, and my administration certification from Lamar University and MAPQSL.

I am currently serving as one of the assistant principals at Robert Lewis Magnet School and I am  loving  the challenge.  I look forward to working with the students, families, and staff.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
