Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) designed to simplify teaching and learning by connecting all of the digital tools teachers and students use in one easy place. NASD is using Canvas across the district to streamline the learning experience.

Tamika Williams and I am but instructional facilitator natchez-adams school district and today I will walk you through how to access what is canvas account for the first time I recommend you opening when getting started opening two tabs in Google Chrome before email access to your email the school district email and also Kansas that link 4K please log in if natchez-adams that instructure.com first we going to access email the email address will be the student Simpsons number without the zeros again please do not use any zeros that's to the left of that Infamous number going to hit next salt password will be one through nine so that's one two three four five six seven eight nine again that password. password will be 1 through 9 it should ask me to change the password at first login now you can create your own password okay wants access mean the mailbox for your email now we're going to go to the login screen for an at this time we're going to leave the email and the password boxes empty and go to forgot password Here we will type in the email address again this email address will be yours School District assigned email address for the student you can't put the entire email address in again that email address will be your M sis number at Natchez. K-Swiss Ms. Us request password if you put your email address incorrectly I'm you should receive this notification that you will receive instruction in your inbox so let's go to the inbox keep it up a second or two to make sure you check spam box this is the email you looking for follow the link set up and now the login we will go back to the logins on page for Kansas and this time instead of putting the complete email address you will only use the m6 number and now login and so this is what you should see on your first login the dashboard and on the left hand in the left-hand panel your Global navigation buttons if you guys have any questions and need additional assistance please feel free to give me a call at or even email me and I will be glad to assist thank you
