MSSCA was founded in November 2020 by seven school counselors. The association's mission is to foster a closer professional and personal relationship among professional school counselors in order to realize more fully the objectives of school counseling programs through membership and active involvement in the association. To be nominated, you must be a licensed school counselor with at least three years of experience, a member of Magnolia State SCA, and a member of ASCA for at least three years.
