Student Council Invited to Recite Pledge

For several decades, small groups of students have been invited to the Adams County Board of Supervisors meetings to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

On May 6th, two girls and two boys — Student Council members from Robert Lewis Magnet School — made the familiar journey downtown to the Board Room of the County Administration and Board of Supervisors Office at 314 State Street. and stood in front of members of the board to lead the pledge.

After the meeting, each student was presented with a certificate and given a tour of the old county jail.

Dexter Bonds serves as Student Council Advisor for RLMS. Students attending were Ciera Demby, Student Body President; Alexis Woods, 8th Grade Vice President; Rayson Brown, 7th Grade President; Zelik Patten, 6th Grade President and Malachi White, 6th Grade Class Representative
