Volunteer mentors set time aside from their regular duties to engage students in conversations about life, school, projects, struggles, and victories. "These meetings are shaping our school by increasing student engagement and trust with teachers, administrators as well as other staff members here at Morgantown," said school guidance counselor Monica King. "Students have begun to support each other and cheer each other on."
