ESSER Allocations

Natchez-Adams School District plans to use the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and ESSER funds to make critical investments in infrastructure, and technology to continue services and to respond to learning losses due to COVID-19, March 2020 through September 2024.

As required, school districts are required to use a minimum of 20% of funding toward closing learning gaps due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funds are being considered to sustain the efforts below:
  1. Canvas Learning Management System
  2. HVAC Upgrades with High Efficiency Particulate Air Filters (HEPA)
  3. Additional technology and support
  4. Touchless Systems in Restrooms
  5. PPE and Cleaning Supplies
  6. Technology Specialist
  7. Licensed Social Worker
  8. School Nurses
  9. Early Learning Specialist
  10. Additional extended day/extended year remediation to address learning loss
