Natchez High School Students Awarded for ACT Performance

Congratulations are in order for these Natchez High School students.  They each had outstanding performance on the ACT and scored 20 or above. The ACT was administered at Natchez High School in March.  William Johnson scored highest, Ashton Williams scored 2nd highest (not pictured), Kaidon Allen scored 3rd (not pictured) and Mickeyia Johnson came in 4th.  As an incentive, faculty members volunteered to donate prizes for the students who scored highest on the test.  "It was Mr. Anderson's idea and we all jumped on the bandwagon because we wanted our students to take the test seriously and to perform to the best of their abilities."  Iris Myles, 11th grade counselor.  We have to give thanks to Mrs. K. Calvit, Ms. D. Strauder, Ms. S. Stander, Ms. L Davis and Mrs. A. Watkins.  Without them, this would not have been possible.  The students were elated to receive their gifts and have already planned what they will do with it.  WIlliam laughed saying that he is going straight to the gas station when he leaves school!!  Congratulations and we are expecting great things not only from these students, but from them all!! 2023 ROCKS!!
